I'm Izzet, born in Vienna in 1989. For over ten years I checked measurements in a lab. Today I build systems for people and for businesses.

1989
Vienna, sports from day one
Born and raised in Vienna. Soccer at SV Donau, then a sports middle school in Kaisermühlen. Plus basketball, gymnastics and aggressive skating. All of it was a big part of my life.

2004
American football
At 15 I joined the Danube Dragons. For the first time I trained under coaches who knew what they were doing. That's where I learned: training is a system, not luck.

2010
Diploma, then the lab
Diploma as a fitness coach. The same year I started at the Federal Office of Metrology and Surveying. I stayed for over ten years, nine of them as a lab manager and auditor.
As a lab manager, I made sure measurements were accurate. Measurements everyone relies on. When you shop, when you fill up the car, when you check your blood pressure. As an auditor for Austria's Ministry of Economic Affairs, I checked that standards and quality requirements were being met.

A father, and an idea
My first child is born. And i.Fitnezz starts as an Instagram account, alongside work, studies and family.

2017
Bachelor's degree
Completed alongside my job: BSc Industrial Engineering & Business at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien.

2021
The turning point
For me, work is more than just making money.
Deep down I was ready to leave as early as 2017. But there were those lines: You've got such a secure job. You'll never find another one like it. They got to me.
In 2021 I quit that secure job anyway, after more than ten years at the federal office. I wanted to focus on my own career and started a master's in industrial engineering and management.

2022
Part-time job, studies, first clients
For two more years I worked part-time and studied. On the side I coached: first colleagues, then friends, then their friends. After three semesters of the master's, I decided to go self-employed, even though I was almost done. By the end of 2024 it was clear: this isn't a hobby anymore.

Founding i.Fitnezz
The side project becomes a business: personal training and Online Fitness Coaching in Vienna.

KALEM Media
I built the brand, website and content for i.Fitnezz myself. At some point other business owners started asking who did it for me. That's how KALEM began.

Today
On the way
Base33, my container gym in Floridsdorf. My own coaching app, in use with my clients. Father of three. Forever a student. On the way, not there yet.
What hasn't changed
Measure, don't guess. In the lab it was temperature, pressure, force and hardness. Today it's a body, a business, an app. The question is the same: what's right, and what isn't?
My faith, my family and my work aren't separate worlds. They're one system.
