The short version

- There is no tracking and no analytics.
- Fonts, images and scripts are hosted on this site's own server. Nothing is loaded from third-party servers.
- Data only flows if you get in touch yourself.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit, Vercel processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the page requested and your browser. The server needs this data to deliver the site and fend off attacks. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in running the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and transfers to the USA rely on it (Art. 45 GDPR). The logs are deleted automatically after a short time.
Contact by email
If you write to me, I process your email address and the content of your message in order to reply. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The emails are stored with Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited). I delete them once the matter is dealt with and no statutory retention period applies.

Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Just write to hallo@izzetarli.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: www.dsb.gv.at.
